AC 309R – Polymer-Based Chemical Curing Agent
AC309R is a water-based chemical curing agent with polymer resins, specially designed for application on floors, slabs, and precast fresh concrete in indoor environments (covered and enclosed areas).
Chemical curing is applied directly to the fresh concrete surface (within 12 hours of placement), delaying excessive water loss until hardening. This enhances cement hydration, increases surface strength, and prevents plastic shrinkage cracks. Additionally, it forms a thin protective film over the applied area, shielding the surface from dirt during the concrete curing and hardening process.
Function:
Delays water loss from fresh concrete, improving cement hydration.
Enhances concrete surface strength.
Prevents plastic shrinkage cracks.
Forms a protective film over the surface, preventing dirt accumulation during execution and hardening.
Advantages:
Prevents cracks in concrete
Increases strength and durability
Eliminates the need for traditional wet curing
Protects the surface from stains and dust
Reduces dust generation
Facilitates cleaning
Low VOC emission
Protective surface film can be removed after 20 days
Applications:
Industrial concrete floors
Concrete compression layers
Zero-level concrete slabs
General precast concrete elements
Parking lot floors in covered areas
How to Use:
Apply immediately after floor polishing.
Use a backpack sprayer with a conical nozzle.
Apply a single coat, avoiding overlap and excess product.
Coverage: 10 to 14 m²/liter.
Drying time: 30 to 90 minutes.
Clean the sprayer and nozzle before and after use.
Application Method Using a Backpack Sprayer:
Keep the spray nozzle 60-80 cm from the application surface.
Apply a single coat with a wide spray pattern, in a slow and continuous motion.
Avoid overlapping layers and additional coating.
Proper application is indicated by a coverage rate of over 10 m²/liter on polished surfaces.
Coverage:
10 to 14 m²/liter
Importance of Concrete Curing:
Concrete curing is a critical step to ensure material quality.
Premature water loss from fresh concrete can cause cracking and reduce strength.
Chemical curing is an effective method to delay water loss and ensure complete cement hydration.
